He cautiously reached out without moving closer and pulled the book back toward him, keeping his distance while he read over it. Or tried to. Most of it he couldn't really understand. It was like he knew the language, in theory, but it wasn't something he'd practiced much of. Like Spanish or something he'd picked up some of here and there through osmosis. But not enough to really do anything with.
It sure didn't mention anything dead though. He was positive of that.
